Over a Century of Teacher Education in Hebrew
Help make a better society
Levinsky College of Education offers many opportunities for its friends to have a beneficial influence on Israeli society.
Every year we grant scholarships to outstanding trainee teachers in our BA and MA programs in education and music education. Many could not continue their studies without your assistance.
We have embarked on an ambitious building program so that we can better meet the challenges of the twenty-first century. These include a new library and learning centers building, a music and cultural center building, a new early childhood education center, and a new building for the LCE campus in Eilat.
We are also undertaking a very special country-wide initiative: Recent research and pilot studies at LCE have shown that tablet computers can be of remarkable educational benefit to children with special needs. With adequate funding we will be able to offer in-service training in tablet use for this purpose to teachers across Israel. A second stage of this program will introduce tablet computers into schools and institutions for special education.
Your donation is a tangible expression of your interest in improving education in Israel and in helping to forge a society that offers greater opportunities to its members. We urge you to explore the donor opportunities presented on our website, and to make your vision real by contacting us, or even better – by visiting to see first-hand what we do.
Levinsky College of Education, a subsidiary of the Jewish Agency for Israel, was founded with the support of the Women's Division of the New York Jewish Appeal.
Donations will be regarded as a gift to a non-profit organization and are tax-deductible in Israel, in the United States, and in other countries in which UJA, UIA or Keren Hayesod operate.
