Levinsky College of Education sees holders of undergraduate and graduate degrees in non-teaching disciplines who are seeking retraining as teachers as people endowed with a unique sense of purpose that will lead to positive change in the education system.

Our retraining programs are guided by the knowledge that adult learners have gained significant life experience, which together with their existing academic qualifications form the basis for meaningful learning and training for a new career as a teacher.

Graduates of professional retraining programs are able to enter the workforce anew, with a host of opportunities awaiting in the public education system, in private teaching frameworks, in community settings, and more.
